Internet Explorer and Outlook Express share the same settings, so this section can apply to both (In case you use Outlook Express to view the newsletter).

To access the settings menu, click on "Tools", then "Internet Options".

Your options should be set to the following:

"General" tab:  Click on the "Settings" button and make sure that the "Every Visit to the Page" button is selected.  This will ensure that the newest possible content is loaded to your page each time you view AVHumor.

"Content" tab:  While AVHumor does not display "pornography", some content could be considered adult.  Therefore, it is a good idea to have the "Content Advisor" disabled.

"Advanced" tab:  Scroll down to the "Multimedia" section.  Please make sure the following are checked:

"Play Animations"

"Play Sounds"

"Play Videos"

"Show Pictures"

"Smart Image Dithering"

As with any browser, it is always a good idea to have the latest version.  To find out what version you have, click the "Help" button and select "About Internet Explorer".  Version 5.5 is the latest version of Internet Explorer.  To update your browser please visit and head to the "Download Center".
