| Please note, if you are experiencing
choppyness with either the new Microsoft Media player, or with Real Player, or any other Media player
that feeds the file from our server, it may be due to one of the following
reasons: 1) The sound/video file you were trying to upload, is uploading slower than your buffer can handle. This may be due to a slow speed on your phone/cable connection, or quite possibly, if you view/listen to the file right when you get it, 20,000 others are trying to access it as well at that very moment, so it is possible that our server is flooded. In this case, you can either wait until the file finishes playing, and then just play it again which should clear up the problem, or just use your right mouse button on the link, save it to your disk, and then play it at your leisure. 2) The second possibility is that you have too much open on your computer, and your memory resources are too low. In this case either shut down some running programs to free up the memory and try again, or you may have to reboot your system and try again. AVHumor currently recommends Microsoft Media player, version 7 for all its audio and visual needs. If you do not already have the Microsoft Media player installed on your system, click on the following URL, and follow the instructions to download this free Multimedia Player. To find out if you have Microsoft Media Player installed on your system, slick on <start><programs><accessories><entertainment> and there should be a place to click on Windows Media Player. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/en/download/default.asp Once it is installed, you can play our selections in one of three ways. 1) Configure your e-mail program, to automatically open the Microsoft Media Player when one of the above file extensions are used. 2) Right click with your mouse on the attachment, and save the file. Then configure windows 95/98/2000 to open the Microsoft Media Player when one of the four extensions are used. 3) Run the Windows Media Player, chose File, Open, and open the multimedia file you have already saved and wish to run.
